Yacht party in Tenerife

The west coast at golden hour, a crew that knows it, a table set on deck. The Atlantic does the rest.

01 — The approach

The boat is chosen for the evening.

A yacht party is only as good as the match between the boat, the group and the sea. Twelve friends celebrating need a different yacht from a company dinner for forty, and a slow afternoon at anchor asks for a different hull from a fast run up the coast. We charter from licensed operators along the south and west of the island — Puerto Colón, Marina San Miguel, Los Gigantes — and choose the boat once we understand the occasion, not before.

Most of our charters follow the coast north-west toward the cliffs of Los Gigantes, where the rock rises several hundred metres straight out of the water, with a stop to swim in a quiet bay before the light turns gold. The channel between Tenerife and La Gomera is home to pilot whales and dolphins all year round. Captains know where they tend to be, but we never promise a sighting — they keep their own schedule.

On board, the evening is designed like any other Ronesi event: food, music, styling and timing, with one person coordinating the boat, the crew and everything waiting on land.

02 — What's on board

Everything on deck. Nothing left to the marina.

The charter is the starting point, not the whole event. Depending on the day, it brings together:

The yacht

Motor yachts, catamarans and classic sailing boats from licensed operators, matched to your group and the route.

Crew

A skipper and crew who know these waters, with hosts and bar staff of our own on larger charters.

Food & drink

A chef on board or a plated menu prepared ashore; an open bar with champagne, cocktails and Canarian wines.

Music

A curated playlist, a DJ on deck or acoustic musicians for sunset — at levels suited to the coast.

The details

Towels, snorkelling gear and paddleboards; florals and table styling designed to survive a sea breeze.

Getting there

Transfers from your hotel or villa to the quay and back. For guests flying in privately, we time the aircraft's arrival at Tenerife South so they go straight from the runway to the marina.

03 — How it works

A course set around the light.

01

We talk

Who's coming, what you're celebrating and how you picture the day: swimming and a long lunch, sunset and dinner, or a night that carries on once you're back on land.

02

We set the course

A boat, a route and a timetable built around the light and the forecast, with the menu and music to match. One proposal, refined with you.

03

You step aboard

Guests are collected, the deck is set and the crew is briefed. If the sea says no, the alternative — a sheltered route or a back-up date — is already agreed.

04 — Questions

What people ask us first.

How many people can come on a yacht party in Tenerife?

Private charters range from boats for six or eight guests to larger catamarans and motor yachts licensed for sixty or more. The figure on the boat's licence is the limit; for comfort, we usually plan well below it.

Where do the boats leave from?

Mostly from Puerto Colón in Costa Adeje, Marina San Miguel near Golf del Sur and the harbour at Los Gigantes, depending on the boat and the route. We arrange transfers from wherever you're staying.

What if the weather is bad on the day?

The south-west coast is sheltered and calm for most of the year, but the captain always has the final word on safety. If conditions aren't right, we move to a sheltered route, a different time of day or a back-up date agreed in advance — you won't be left to rearrange anything yourself.

How long is a typical charter?

Anything from a three-hour sunset cruise to a full day at sea. Many groups choose an afternoon departure that takes in a swim stop, the sunset and dinner on board, returning after dark.

Can you combine the yacht with a dinner or party on land?

Often the best evenings do. A sunset charter can end at a private villa, a restaurant or a beach club, with cars waiting at the quay. We plan both halves as a single event.

The occasion is already filled in — four short questions on the right, or skip it all and send a voice note on WhatsApp. Either way, it ends in a live chat with us.
